Happy Pride Month, sistercels!

I tried to KOG with Crystal Beasts this month because it’s the most LGBT deck in the format, but unfortunately both of the top decks absolutely dumpster it (rude…dare I say, home of phobic!). So I ended up switching to the other fruity deck consisting of the GY-hating lesbians and their Clown GBF enablers, in part because I’ve always been meaning to try out the Performage deck but I personally didn’t like the Magistus variant that was relevant last year. This honestly made for an interesting KOG climb in a format where going 2nd can be a death sentence if you don’t open at least 2 must-negates and going 1st puts you at risk to getting Kaiju’d at any moment…some games were won just by searching Vadis over Returnia, funnily enough. My ratios for this list are dependent on what I have on hand btw, results may vary depending on how many other staples you may have.

The Dolls were very fun to play against so long as miss Winda was not involved, and this is one of the matchups where Vadis comes in handy big time—do note that this matchup post-banlist will get even easier going 1st since Mikailis can banish their 1 copy of Resh. Utopia, Speedroids, and Ancient Gears are total coin flips, go 1st and set up (or 2nd against AG) and hope you don’t get Kaiju’d, or pray you open enough gas to bait out negates going 2nd. I couldn’t figure out how to beat Sharks or Nouvelles the few times I ran into them, but both of those decks look so cool tbh!
