Ended up trying Crimson Dragon again this month, just to be post-banlist before the banlist, and got there the day after the banlist in 52 wins :-)
Rank-up duel was against Resonator, who went 2nd and opened pretty much everything: Crimson Resonator, Soul Resonator, Crimson Gaia, double Wildwind, Bone Archfiend. He made 1 critical error through his first attack target being Chengying, and it led to me playing super defensively for 8 turns so that he wouldn't kill me at 1000 LP. I looped M7 a few Ctimes and just kept popping his cards until I had clearly stopped him from dealing 200 damage.
Other notable matchups were D-HERO, Odion Centur-Ion, Blue-Eyes, and Chimera. Stardust seems to have vanished, but not for long perhaps...
