Everyone says Hazy are bad. They're right, but they're bad too, so you win enough to reach KoG. You have 3 ways of reaching Peryton: drawing into him directly, milling him with Sphynx or Dante then reviving him with Sphynx, or blasting Cerbereus with Agnimazud and adding him to your hand. Your typical turn 1 play is Peryton + Sphynx into 3 hazy monsters, and summon Beatrice, then dump Scarm, who adds Farfa. If your opponent uses BoM to hit Beatrice, you can send Dragon Ice to the GY, and pitch Farfa with Dragon Ice to disrupt their plays even when Beatrice can't activate her effect.

You cannot afford to play passively with this deck, so we don't run any hand traps. Even if you survive an OTK turn, if you can't get enough resources to rebound, then surviving an extra turn meant nothing. Red Layer is a surprisingly good addition from the latest box, as he can summon himself going 1st and 2nd, and can occasionally retrieve another copy of himself if you have extras in the GY. Blazing Mars is a play extender/grind game tool. Agnimazud is good, just not 150 USD good. Use him if you have him, don't if you don't.

If you run fossil fusion and weathering soldier, you can make 2 rank 6s (including 1 Beatrice) by doing the standard Peryton 3 Hazy setup, milling weathering with Beatrice, searching Fossil Fusion and summoning the LV 6 Fossil Skull Knight, then summoning another rank 6. It's cool, but it's 2 extra bricks in an already bricky deck. I couldn't make it work.
