Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

I want to start off this decklist writeup by saying Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone's having a great start to the 2026 year so far. I know I am because 2026 is a huge year for me. For anyone who doesn't know, this year is the year I walk the stage for my university graduation. You may call me Dr. Crimson after May 2026 is over. I've been working hard on this degree and it's a long time coming. I apologize for the late King of Games entry, but I've been so busy with school and ordering my graduation regalia. Now onto the decklist discussion!

Yeah, this is just standard Altergeist with the Sanctuary of the King's Treasures Skill. Nothing has changed on this deck. I do want to mention that I went undefeated to King of Games with this deck, going 7/0 from Legend 4 straight into King of Games. For the tech cards, I changed some stuff around. You will notice I added in Magic Deflector and Non-Fusion Area. Both of those cards are to answer Branded Despia, a deck that's basically tier zero right now. Going second against Branded is, well, difficult. The deck has better grind game than you do and it's hard to play through their interruptions and Tax Dragon. Red-Eyes is also unwinnable going second. Altergeist isn't playing through Dragoon negate and multiple Lord of the Red pops, unfortunately.

So yeah, there's not much else to discuss about the deck that you haven't seen before. TY-PHON did come up sometimes though. The combo of Sphere Mode into Hexstia into TY-PHON to return the Sphere Mode can close out duels. TY-PHON solves the issue of finding lethal through the Sphere Mode you gave your opponent, which is nice. You don't need TY-PHON if you don't have it.

And that's the deck! Konami, can you guys please give Altergeists more support already? I would love to get the leaked Adminia and Malwisp in addition to Protocol and a Ghost Gal Skill. If those come, I'll have a YouTube video on them asap so drop sub if you don't want to miss it. I also want to give a huge shoutout to BlairVVitchProject, Timaeus222, and Coolsy101 for their kind words to me and being there if I ever needed someone to talk to. You guys are the best! I couldn't have asked for better people in my life. THANK YOU!!!

My past five games were consisted of Resonator, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Red-Eyes Armament, Starlight Drive, and the King of Games duel Invoked Thunder Dragons (Yami Yugi).

Replays

For replays, the King of Games Duel was unsatisfying because the Yami Yugi went first, summoned Aleister, used Destiny Draw Leading to Dragon Master Knight and then scooped. I will share the replay vs the Starlight Drive player to showcase the turn zero Multifaker combo. Enjoy the video while we wait for more Altergeist support and a Skill for my waifu Ghost Gal to call her own. I want to play Altergeists on Ghost Gal!
