Notes & Combos
This is my fourth month in a row KoGing with this deck and I would not recommend it as it takes an incredible amount of patience to compete against the current meta.
I've cut the deck down even more to the bare minimum of 20 cards to ensure you always have a Despia card in your opening hand to be able to activate the skill.
D.D. Crow is your friend. I swapped Forbidden Droplet for Crow because I kept facing Chimera and Beetrooper decks. I only went through the box not even 1 time, so I only have 1 copy of the important Aluber and Dramaturge. And while I put Lance in to protect Maasquerade, it was actually never in my hand the last 5 games.
The strategy remains the same. Going first, you want to have Opening in your GY, Tax-Dragon on the field, and Branded set in the backrow. Wait until your opponent pressures you into fusion-summoning Quaeritis with Dramaturge and reduce their ATK points to 0 before they end the main phase on turn 2. Comedy will protect your face-up Despia cards and Opening will protect your fusion-monsters from being destroyed.
Going second, use the skill to get as many cards in your hand as possible and try to wipe their board with The First Darklord.
