Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code

  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the browser console => Paste the export code there => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code and hit Enter
  4. Save the deck
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

Nekroz is a very interesting Deck to look at this format. His engine is very strong at countering match-ups like Tenyi, Live Twin and Yubel. Nekroz of Trishula is a real force to recognize with. MVPs of the build are Great Sorc, Ariel and Catastor. We need to leave the early game as soon as possible, so Ariel and Sorc are perfect to profit from Valkyrus' effect, specially if we go first. Catastor is amazing because it turn Jus into 1 card Rank4 Xyz plays. My climb was a lot of fun and every match-up felt fair and winnable.

Example of Valkyrus plays:

  • Opening hand: Ju + Ritual Spell + Valkyrus (Valk+Ritual Spell can be archieved with any searcher)

Summon the Ju to get Brio; use Brio to get Ariel. Use Ritual Spell, tribute Ariel + Ju, summon Valkyrus. Ariel triggers to grab Great Sorc or Shurit.

Use Valkyrus effect, tribute the monster your search, draw 1 card. Trigger the monster to get a search. If you tribute Valkyrus as well, draw 2 cards and then use the Ritual Spell to search another spell.

  • Opening hand: Ju + Shurit + Ritual Spell

Summon Ju to get Valk. Activate spell, tribute Shurit, summon Valkyrus. Grab Brio, then use Brio to grab Sorcerer or Ariel. Use Valk, tribute Ju + searched monster, draw 2 cards. Then trigger the searched monster to search another card.

  • Opening hand: Ju + Ritual Spell + Valkyrus + Shurit/Ariel/Great Sorc

Summon Ju, get Brio, get Ariel. Summon Valk by tributing Ariel and Ju. Use Ariel to grab Great Sorc or Shurit.

Use Valk to tribute Sorc and Shurit. Then trigger both effects to get 2 searches.
