Notes & Combos

This is my 3rd Srardust KOG run in a row.

• I played the game for less than 100 days so I am not an expert, but here are the details:

Turn 1

• Standard "Primus" & "ATRII" combo with "Stand Up Centur-Ion to get "Crimson Dragon".

• Note: Don't discard "Shining Star Dragon" at almost any situation because you will need it for Turn 2.

• Yellow button to get "Quasar". "Crimson Dragon" ability to get "Auxila".

• "Synchro Overtop" to synchro "Formula Synchron" and draw 1 card.

• "Stardust Synchron & Trail" ability from graveyard to synchro summon "Accel & Formula".

• Set all traps and get "Atrii" from graveyard to use it on field or discard for Droplet activation.

What if I get Droll or Veiler against me Turn 1?

• Droll: I discard a card to get "Atrii" and continue with the same combo but no extra card at the end so try to not discard "Shining Star Dragon" to keep the momentun in the next turn.

• Veiler: if you have extra "Stardust Trail" or "Atrii" in your hand, you are fine by doing the same combo, and I get "Stand Up Centur-Ion with "Auxila" to help for next turn. If you don't have, you're cooked.

What if my opponent is trying to discard my "Stardust Synchron" from graveyard to ruin the combo?

• If you have "Lancea" in your hand, use it especially against decks like branded.

• No "Lancea in hand": if you start with "Stardust Synchron" in hand and don't need to return it to use yellow button, keep it in your hand and use "Shining Star Dragon" to do the same combo, then use "Stardust Synchron" ability on Formula Synchron" and get "Trail" and continue the same combo.

• Otherwise? Cooked

Starting as Turn 2

it's very hard to start Turn 2 but here is what I do:

• Yellow button to get 3 Signers. If you get "Black Rose Dragon", get "Ruddy Rose", otherwise get "Quasar". Usually "Ruddy" gets negated, and "Quasar" gets banished but takes a trap and monster ability with it, so it's slightly easier for you to use the yellow button first part.

• After that, deciding to go with Primus or not, or use Primus ability to destroy a card all depens on the sityation you are facing. You might even want to go "Accel" to get "Satellite Warrior" or "Shooting Star" or get the "Trail" token from graveyard to use "Stardust Synchron" abolity fron the graveyard on it. It all depens on the situation you are facing.
