Stardust is still good, even though I would have not limited Synchro World since it kills the deck diversity and AFD is not guaranteed anymore, so that was a tad bit overkill imo. Also opening multiple starters possibly breaking the skill post nerf means you must max both Shining Star and Stardust Trail in order to not brick your yellow button.

Anyway, I decided to play a pure version since I hate the Centur-ion engine with a passion and did want to dedicate more slots in main deck and ED for techs/toolbox.

This list aims to prioritize not using Stardust Synchron going 1st to have follow-up (and also because Bystial is very prevalent right now) while keeping Shining Star Dragon in hand with 2 spaces on board for Crimson Dragon.

So, normal summoning Shining Star if you open just 1 name (and make an immune ASSD in case you sense an handtrap). This is better than synchro summoning Primera since you are not weak vs Veiler,Impermanence and Droll, so you will resolve Crimson Dragon, no matter what your opponent has.

2 Names = Quasar + Abyss with Shining Star Dragon in hand, which you will use to Synchro Summon Trishula during your opponent MP and disrupt their turn, often closing games since it's very potent and effective non-targeting removal.

You will use Void Ogre Dragon summoned by Crimson Dragon targeting Lifestream before going Quasar, as a material to Synchro Summon HRDA, with Overtop. You are free to extend with ASSD+Formula with 2nd signer fodder, mainly if you have just opened 1 name and normal summoned your Shining Star added by skill

You can also extend by special summoning back your Void Ogre with either Rumble/Scrap-Iron Sacred Statue, the latter a very great recursion tool as well, and Ogre is also a great target under Droll.

I tried OYM but ultimately decided to play Map to replace the 2 copies of Stardust Synchron we lost, since we can not only search Shining Star acting as a starter but also Sage, which adds an interaction AND get a +1 from the free formula we get from skill, and that is pretty good.

Trishula banish is very powerful, especially vs decks like Bystial and things like Albaz set bs. The Extra deck also has everything as toolbox, including Zero and Ruddy.

You can probably go over 20-24c list, i just decided to stay consistent.

If you come to the end of this, thanks for reading! and GL with your KoG run ;)

Going fast make me feel alive
