Notes & Combos

IT'S ME! Red-Eyes Gal with a Red-Eyes deck actually. I saw people doing the Albion Hieratic combo and I actually liked what I saw. This deck has a REALLY STRONG first turn endboard.

Dragoon and Lord of the Red are the removal brothers as always but now they have the help of Branded Beast to complement them.

Branded Banishment is a billion times better than Super Poly in a lot of cases, banishing the materials is an extra layer of removal that deals against some annoying recursion effects and let's you actually summon good monsters like Dragostapelia or Khaos. While also being a Dragoon revival in case you got Kaiju'd.

Going Second

Going second you completely depend on the Bystials to carry you since the moment Polymerization gets negated you are doomed. My piece of advice is that unless you think the Bystials are gonna remove an extremely important combo piece, for example banishing Dreadmaster so that Destiny Heroes don't get a free turn. Don't use them going second until it's your turn.

Alternatives

Cards like Lava Golem and Nibiru are good, I tried them early on but a lot of the times I rather draw a Bystial. Droll is always a good choice but if you have Magnamhut or Regained already on the field you are hurting yourself more than you are the opponent.

I don't even bother with Veiler on this deck, there's not enough decks that die to the one Veiler anymore.

And you can also run one Red-Eyes Fusion. Not for fusing, but as discard fodder with Dragoon or to search with Meteor Dragon and draw a card with Regained.

Weaknesses

BRICKS BRICKS BRIIIIICKS BRICKS The need to run 15 RED-EYES CARDS hinders this deck because the Red-Eyes cards we have currently in Duel Links SUUUUUUCK!

If I could run the Red-Eyes Metalmorph monsters this deck would be so gas. Also the Bystial mirror match is P A I N F U L, try to check for delays because if your Dark Magician gets banished while doing your main combo then you are SCREWED.
