Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

These formats were so bad that I did not even bother to reach KoG during June and July, as a meta where Orcust was tier 0, followed by Speedroids and Odd-Eyes just doing **** because those skills are so dumb (please kill raging pend already) are just not fun. I fact, while I was just not had the energy to reach KoG during June due to the amount of Orcust pre-banlist going around, I tried to do it on July with Ursartics with the Driver engine, and while I was doing well... I lose my 2 rank-up matches to KoG because I do not open anything good which was so frustrated. And funnily enough I tried Salads to reach KoG that month but lose to both me misplaying and my opponent using cards they SHOULD NOT RUN (I should not expect Odd-Eyes running traps). So yeah, I lose 3 rank-up matches and I was so frustated that I just did not even bother... Until now.

See, I was planning to just do the same here, but decided to use Red-Eyes now that I reached Legend 5 with different decks (from Gandora Orcust to D-HERO to Fav HERO to Mermail Atlantean Frogs) and see how it fared... While I lose my rank-up match and was struggling a bit... I was able to reach KoG with them, and I am so happy because, despite being kinda bad, Red-Eyes is a bit of a competent deck, you could say it has the potential to be the best, but only because it's a backrow deck, and from what I learn in these formats, backrow decks are always superior due to a lack of good backrow hate in this game.

So you know, running the staple traps and book because they can win you games from time to time, it's ridiculous. Triple Red-Eyes spells and traps because why wouldn't you? And of course three Red-Eyes and one of each of the materials for Slash and Meteor, plus D.D. Crow as a sacky one off (I used to run 2) and the Baby just to either have something to set when I opened it or as a card to send of from Meteor's effect and then it becomes a Necro Fusion target to summon Furious.

Extra deck is a bit funny. The good old Purple Reds: Skull, Meteor and Slash, as well as two Furious. One Ding for Crackdown Galatea/Longirsu, and the Knighmares just in case (they never came up).

Overall, I am glad I was able to finally reach KoG after not having the energy to do it on June and getting screwed constantly in July. Also shoutouts to a friend of mine who also loves Red-Eyes. Hope you doing okay, my friend.
