Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the browser console => Paste the export code there => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code and hit Enter
  4. Save the deck
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

While the new skill is very strong as seen in the KC Cup top 100, I wanted to focus as a challenge on optimizing what could be the best way to play the Shooting Star Road Version with the newly released cards.

There are 3 major additions of the new box into the deck: Shooting Riser Dragon, which totally changes the way of optimizing our turn 1; Synchro Overtake, which in this list can add or special summon Junk Synchron, in addition to be a direct reborner for Stardust if you kept Shooting Star Dragon in the extra deck; the trap card Red Reign, which is a very powerful addition that synergizes with the main strategy of the deck

Let's start with Shooting Riser Dragon: this card has turned Junk Servant into a direct foolish burial for Tuning Gum when used in addition to Junk Synchron. How? By simply special summoning him after normal summoning Junk reviving converter, you Synchro Summon Riser, sending Gum, then synchro into Stardust Dragon with Riser (6) + Converter (2). Stardust Warrior with a target protection in gy is a very strong turn 1 that is really hard to go through for the majority of the currently best performing decks.

Synchro Overtake synergizes with Junk Servant/Linkslayer, allowing to go into a level 7/8 without normal summoning, mainly to bait disruption going 2nd. I did choose BRD as the level 7 since no one really expects it on ladder, and also because it can be set up by Riser during opponent turn (instead of sending Gum, you can send Rush Warrior to make Riser a 5, while having a guaranteed follow up after a board clear). Great in matchups where SWarrior or SSDragon are not good.

Red Reign is very strong and is broken if milled on turn 1 by Tuning, that's why i'm playing 3x. How? because you recycle it back by synchro summoning Samsara as your level 5 bridge to go into Stardust. This automatically implies he is a free discard for Linkslayer.

The deck can very probably go over 24 with more techs without hurting consistency since searches are maxed out, I just wanted to keep the Tuning mill chances with 6 good targets total better overall.
