A while back when Time Thief Cross Beat got upgraded it was pretty easy to dismiss the changes to the skill as just buy Nibiru propaganda. The sad part is that Nibiru is not super good in this deck for various reasons. Regardless if Nibiru is good in the format summoning Nibiru means that you cannot activate Regulator's effect to summon which makes starting your plays more diffult. Playing Nibiru as a one of endboard piece is also not super good because it takes one spot in the extra deck to play Gallant Granite to search it and since Nibiru also tributes all your monsters using Nibiru kill all of your other interactions and some of your follow up.

The extradeck is as tight as ever the latest additions are Asophiel replacing Castell because she can target set monsters while Castell cannot which is relevant since it helps push for letal after Evilswarm Nightmare puts monsters face down, and Tornado Dragon replacing Vespenato because it counters field spells and continious spell or traps and also, even still running Knightmare Phoenix, Tornado Dragon is good to deal with set spell and traps because since it is an Xyz monster it still allows to extend with Winder and Bezel Ship. Phoenix is still in the extra deck because having a link monster to crear up your board is still good to either summon different Xyz monsters or get rid of a Kaiju or Lava golem your opponent gives you, Pentestag is also an alternative using either depends on which of their effects is more relevant in the moment.

The skill change were more relevant than they seem but of course not enough to make the deck meta. To explain that is to say that the deck's main streght has been strenghtened but its major weaknesses are still unadressed; going first making boards with Redoer+Retrograde+2 more Xyzs is more common than ever and playing throught effect veiler going first is rather easy but the deck still is missing high quality extenders and to be able to consistently win going second.
