Notes & Combos

Do you hate the Tax Dragon? Do you hate El Shaddol Winda? Do you hate Backrow decks? Then Look no further! Let me introduce you to Heavy storm+ the skill!

Going second with this deck against anything that isnt exactly Hero feels extremely good. For Despia, use the skill and grab import to eat the tax dragon and be on your merry way. For basically everything that sets a backrow, grab burst, watch them blow their interuptions on dyson sphere, and then proceed to full combo them into the sun.

Going first is a bit more tricky, Ideal endboard is Jorm + Laev + Harr (or get harr from boss stage on the opponents turn). + either Nidhog or Utgarda depending on the matchup. Not a bad board at all but it has pretty inherent weaknesses.

You have to use Jorm at beggining of main to trigger Harr, then you need to negate with Harr by tributing Jorm and something else (usually harr) to make sure you turn Laev online. If your opponent knows how your interaction works, they can navigate around this. Especially Hero as you dont have a good way to play around Super Poly if they try to armed dragon first. Also lost a couple matches to Illusion because I cannot be bothered to learn what all their cards do and I always forget to use Laev until after Mirror Knight is in Grave.

Saw People running Boss Fight to help going first, I highly disagree. Since you most likely wont have Harr until after the field spell resolves, this just starts your opponent with an additional card in hand. Extra is pretty much preference but I believe Earth slicer is a must because if you resolve Burst on the back row, slicer can clean up the monsters for an easy OTK.
