Notes & Combos
I don't know why I tried to play this deck in a Blue-Eyes and Shinobird meta, but to be fair, most of my wins were going 2nd, which is always nice to see.
The deck got Martha, which means the Performage skill is no good, so Heartbeat of Hope letting us "play" non-Exosister monsters on the field gets around that restriction!
Some of the notable meta matchups were Blue-Eyes, Shinobird, Shaddoll (my rank-up actually), and Chimera, and some rogue matchups were Dark Magician, Altergeist and Libromancer. Somehow, I saw 2 Vaylantz, but 1 Crow on his search spell was a tilt scoop for him (thankfully).

In terms of the cards specifically, this deck was well-positioned in this meta to trigger the Xyz Summoning effects---Shinobird banish the Milky Way trap, Chimera adds back the Fusion Spell, Blue-Eyes banishes the Majesty trap, banishes the Kaibaman from GY, Shaddoll banishes from GY with Schism, to name a few.
-
I did get Kaijued a few times (to play around it, I search Vadis), but sometimes I had Droplet to send away the monster and re-enable Returnia again by having monsters off of Vadis, so it's not the end of the world.
-
I did have to contend with Droplet and Eclipse being used on me, and Vadis helped in those cases when my opponent tries to move cards from the GY by effect (and not by cost). Sometimes Magnifica was also just too big to beat over and I can banish a card in their End Phase when I go face-up.
Anyways, hope you guys enjoy these games! VERY interactive, involved, and overall stretching my brain even further beyond. :-)
