Welcome back to another one of my Altergeist decklists. From what I've gathered, at the time of writing, I seem to be the first one to hit DL Max with Altergeists, which is weird since I maxed accidentally while playing very casually for my daily KC Cup Gems. Where did the other Altergeist players go? Is it just me left carrying this deck on my shoulders? Or are the other Altergeist players waiting for new Altergeist cards? I wonder.

Without further ado, let's get into the writeup of my decklist, what you guys came here to see. I'm not going to lie, Altergeist is actually not that bad in this current November 2025 format. Yeah, you have some bad matchups in Shinobird, Swordsoul, Blue-Eyes, and Rebecca Dragons, but you have more good matchups than bad ones. For Shinobird, you kind of have to pray they didn't hard open Amano Iwato since that turns off all your Hexstia interactions. Blue-Eyes is coinflip (you need to go first to win or pray they didn't open random tech cards to sack you if they went first). For Rebecca Dragons, Sphere Mode can clean up their front-row, but it's their backrow that worries me. Graceful Charity is genuinely a broken card and I hope Konami removes that from the Guardian Angel's Charity Skill.

As for new additions to the deck, you'll notice I'm playing x3 copies of Discord. This card is great for stunning Blue-Eyes out of their Synchro plays and for helping patch the very bad matchup you have into Swordsoul. At worst, Discord is extra discard fodder for your spot-removal in Eldlich the Golden Lord.

But yeah, if anyone's curious about winrates or anything like that, I believe I maintained around a 95% winrate with this list. I wasn't keeping track, but I know I went on a solid 7 game winstreak somewhere in that climb. I did keep track of my wins though and it took me exactly 40 wins to go from DL 10 (start) to DL 20 (max). Overall, the climb was not difficult at all. I think the November 2025 format is quite healthy honestly.

For wishlists, I would like Ghost Gal to get her own Altergeist Skill (playing anime decks without the intended character is so boring man). I would also like Protocol, Adminia, and Malwisp. Plus, Amano and Graceful Charity gone would be huge too.

As for my DL Climb to max, it was consisted of Shinobird (he bricked), Borreload Rokkets (Sphere Mode cleaned up his field), Ra (don't play this deck, it's bad), and my DL MAX Duel Vaylantz (very back and forth with Sphere Mode securing me the win).
