A swordsoul deck with 22 cards allowed me to play with consistent hand most of the time.

The cards I wished could play more copies were mostly MoYe, Longyuan, BOE and Droplet

However, there were times when Longyuan was a brick along with Droplet since it is a one per turn card. You really don’t want to see many staples in your starting hand with this deck.

The most useful is ecclesia along with golden, summit, Taia and Longyuan. Those are the cards needed to go into full combo.

T1 you N.S ecclesia and go into MoYe, now if you have all the cards to do a full combo you go for Dragite, else you summon Chixiao to search the cards missing.

The reason you want all the cards in your starting hand is because with Qixing effect you can draw three cards if you summon Chixiao at the end of your play. This is why you want to run a deck as close to 20 cards as possible.

Having golden along with ecclesia in grave really can save you, after all you interrupt the opponent with the fusions. Also crow has a double purpose with this deck.

When you banish an opponents monster with crow, in case your board is negated, you can activate golden effect then summon ecclesia and you go from there. I would really recommend crow as a handtrap.

The MVP of this deck is BERSERKER, the attack boost enables you to win many games, even some you lose otherwise. When I managed to summon him along with Chengying it was a winning combo. Chengying drops the attack stat of the opponent monsters and berserker finishes the job.

It is satisfying winning duels like that
