Omg this kc cup was so painful. If I'm going first the only game plan is "Survive". The only thing u have going for u with Phantom Knights is that ur opponent may not know how ur cards work so if u can bait their negates u can try to make Arc Rebellion and go for game. This strat somehow carried me to lv20. I was playing handtraps but I had to focus on ensuring I could setup a big enough wall to survive to turn 2 so handtraps just couldn't be taking up valuable space.
I somehow never came across Traptrix, PUNK or Shinobird so I can't give tips on those matchups.
Branded is the most annoying matchup because of Tax dragon, I either have to droplet it or I need to play into it and pay all my life just for a chance to win, without droplet u will more often than not lose.
Red-Eyes and Tachyon are kinda similar since if u can bait the negates wih Break Sword and Requiem u can try to make an arc rebellion for game. If u have droplet u can droplet dragoon and use requiem's ATK steal for game too.
All things considered I just got really lucky, I love Phantom Knights but those last 2 games were really stressful for dlv MAX.
