Notes & Combos
The results of this deck are decided by going first or second. Ophion is OP enough to completely shut down Tachyon, Branded/Despia, Red-Eyes, Swordsoul, and P.U.N.K with ease when going first. If you go second against any of these, start praying that your opponent bricks or has a bad turn-1 field, or else you lose instantly. Beetrooper and Traptrix are also just horrendously bad matchups for this deck. Nibiru and any other Handtrap are also very bad for your opening But all of this is worth it just to see Tachyon and Branded players lose within seconds.
Anyways, if you’d like to try it, here is my go-to endboard plus some replays:
Your turn-one endboard should consist of Ophion, Dragite, and Transfurlmine/Garesglasser + Unlocking and Infestation Pandemic. The deck is quite consistent at going for this board, but it can brick, which usually isn’t the case.
