In one of the worst metas possible in Duel Links, something that seemed impossible was actually achieved—doing something for the poor Paleos. Let’s see when “Komoney” finally gives them Rollback.
It can also be said that it didn’t cost that much; I had a bit of luck too, since I ran into very few Therions along the way. Still, it’s true that with Bald Odion’s skill you can counter the deck quite well using Sphere and Kaijus—but even then, there are situations where not even Sphere is enough to beat them.
The deck focuses on control and stun, using one of the best trap cards for this meta: MIND DRAIN. It’s decent—not the best deck in the world—but with this version, it can still compete. Even so, Paleos really need their own skill, since Odion’s ability doesn’t synergize that well with them—they aren’t considered continuous traps. Unfortunately, there isn’t a better skill option for the deck. Even if it’s not a perfect fit, it helps with their biggest issue: being too slow to bring out their best cards from the Extra Deck.
