Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the browser console => Paste the export code there => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code and hit Enter
  4. Save the deck
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

Hey everyone! Your best Altergeist King (and number one Ghost Gal waifuist) has arrived once again on the updated Altergeist decklist for the April 2024 KC Cup. First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone who wished me a happy 27th birthday (on April 5, 1997) and it's because of you guys that my birthday was so memorable this year, so thank you from the bottom of my heart for those who took time out of their busy day to wish me a happy birthday this year.

For this month's KC Cup, I decided on something a little different because as we all know, Ghost Gal got a brand new skill, Spellcaster's Exchange, and I was determined to try it. This skill has so much synergy with the new Sauge de Fleur card as well as Altergeist Kunquery, allowing you to trade them in for additional backrow draws, which is always nice. Sauge de Fleur also can pop your own Meluseek, pop one of your opponent's stuff, and give you a large 2900 beater on the way out and that caught my opponents off guard at times. Everything else is standard Altergeist stuff that you've seen before, but I do want to give a huge shoutout to Needle Ceiling, as nobody expects it in an Altergeist deck and I'm the inventor of Needle Ceiling Altergeists so I'm glad to see that the Needle Ceiling tech still auto wins games for people that play into it. I also cut Silquitous down to one because I was tired of it being glued to my hand and I'd rather take the 5% chance of opening my one-of than 10% chance of seeing it and being down a card in my hand turn one.

For my tech cards, Debunk didn't come up once so feel free to cut it. Sky Striker Ace Shizuku was there as a good luck charm because I never leave home without my waifus in my decklist.

For my 27th birthday this year, Konami blessed me with more Altergeist support in Master Duel in the form of Altergeist Adminia, Peritrator, Revitalization, and Malwisp so in the end, I hope to see some of those in Duel Links.

As for matchups, Battle Chronicle is annoying if they open Dragon Spirit of White and Successor Soul and Sky Striker is a lost cause because they just dismantle your whole board. Konami, please kill these decks, I beg, especially Battle Chronicle because it was more prominent than Sky Striker.

Replays

For replays, I would like to share one that was an epic back and forth in this April 2024 KC Cup. This game was against S-Force, which is generally a losing matchup into Altergeists because I cannot bounce to my hand to pay Silquitous cost but nevertheless, I pulled through and won by the skin of my teeth. Enjoy the replay!
