I played Dragonic Resonance for day 1 of the event, but swapped to Arise Dragon for Day 2 and 3. Despite Slayer's ability to destroy trap cards, I found myself losing games when the opponent was able to set multiple trap cards. Additionally, I had noticed players swapping out cards like Recital and The Barrier for Phantom Bind, so I wanted a deck that played around it naturally. I ended day 3 with a fairly standard list, but the majority of my games involved Dream Drummer and Speedy Performer in the place of Kuribot and Dragorite (in fact, I don't remember ever resolving Kuribot after making the swap). The Psychic engine has applications against every main deck of the format. Against Resonance, shuffling away Sportsdragons severely limits their ability to establish a 2 boss board, and most other decks run into a similar situation by shuffling away Aqua/Beast cards. Against Warriors, the ability to shuffle your own monsters is incredibly important as well; nearly every game I played against Warriors resulted in me winning with 0 cards in deck. Resonance is still my pick for the best deck, but picking up Ancient Forces allowed me the most space to tech against it.
