A Message fromConsidering this Tier List is so soon after the recent balance update, the Tier List is in a more volatile state as the meta itself goes under rapid reconstruction. Expect the Tier List to experience more fluctuations as the meta settles down.
Ah yes, the classic post banlist meta: everything is a mess. While we're waiting for an eventual skill rebalancing patch, everything that didn't really get touched moved up and everything that did get hit instead goes down, right? Well, yes and no. I'll try to give a general rundown in order of how these decks were placed in the Tier List, although I may personally disagree with some choices.
Tier 1

Mekk-Knights move to Tier 1 after the latest banlist, with the new Surprise Present version with Loading... popping up in the KCC alongside existing versions, this deck is projecting towards a Tier 1 Status. Surprise Present allows the deck to establish a Turn 1 board while also clogging backrow slots from your opponent with Loading... . In addition, Psi-Reflector also enables Synchro plays which gives the deck more utility options. As such, Mekk-Knights are expected to do well with their ability to have both a strong Turn 1 and Turn 2 while accruing advantage with Loading... and Loading... and picking apart the opponent's board with Loading... and Loading... .
Mekk Knights lost their ability to protect their Loading... from Loading... in Loading... , which makes them really fragile to one of the most popular tech cards. However, people aren't focusing on MST / Loading... that much given its inconsistency in hitting the rest of the decks in the format, meaning that it'll just come down to fluctuations in deckbuilding and singular players' preference. I personally don't think a deck with such a glaring issue should ever be considered the best deck in the format. Don't get me wrong, it can be the best pick for a SINGULAR EVENT, but I ultimately don't think it's gonna stay consistently in the Tier 1 slot. Despite this, the deck still definitely has a role in the format: being able or not to beat Secrets with engine only is essentially the gatekeeping question of this meta, and even if you are able to, can you overwhelm a bunch of big bodies on the board? As long as Secrets is in the game, you don't have to worry about viability for Mekks, they'll always have a role. Oh, and they also have the freest of matchups against Burning Abyss and Metalfoes that don't run Pendulum Change: Basic , while only really suffering against Railway between the lower-Tier / Rogue matchups.
In our opinion, Mekk-Knights are the best strategy in the game, and I will quickly go over the positives and negatives of the deck. With Loading... and Surprise Present the deck can give a searched Loading... to your opponent to set up your columns, which can net you a +1 from your Loading... to extend your plays (not to mention its kind of funny that the Skill screws over Burning Abyss and Pendulum Decks without a Pendulum Scale Skill). The Assault Mode engine also gives you access to the Synchro toolbox (in addition to the Galaxy Xyz + Secrurity Dragon > Ningirsu packages they already had access to), as cards like Loading... and Loading... to disrupt the opponent on their turn. The deck also has room for Techs like Loading... / Loading... / Loading... / Loading... that also set-up your columns.
For the negatives, the deck struggles dealing with common cards like Loading... and techs like Loading... , Loading... and Loading... . They also have problems dealing with big monsters and effects that activate in the Graveyard. The deck was definitely minimally-affected by the banlist (Loading... to one? Who cares!), and while definitely nowhere close to Tier 0 its one of the more unique strategies, having decent matchups across the board.
