Sadly the new main BOX has left us with a generally similar meta to last week. Destiny HEROs' consistency continues to bring them increased success & D/D/D falling off the tier list shouldn't surprise anyone. I am personally hopeful that maybe there is something interesting with Gishki to be brewed but for now we should expect more of the usual suspects as we head towards the upcoming KC cup.

Tier 1

TPC Comments

To no surprise Harpies are remaining at Tier 1. Current deck lists have settled down playing 1 Loading... and 1 Loading... in a small build, to see TTH as fast as possible. Since drawing TTH is almost certain victory in the mirror match.

Other cards like Loading... severely went down in usage because of Loading... banishing revive targets, Loading... stopping the Special Summon of Harpie Ladies and most importantly the rise of Loading... in almost all decks (most notably Destiny HEROs), which also turns off TTH.

However, Harpies have started to main deck Loading... to combat decks like Destiny HEROs a lot better. Destroying the Loading... in Draw phase and having easy access to Loading... improves the matchup quite a lot. With MST being played in Harpies, OTK'ing through 1 backrow has become a lot easier since your opponent most likely won't set bluffs in front of Loading... unless they have a way of dealing with it.

Harpies didn’t win this week, but they are still incredibly strong. Harpies, with the recent addition of Destiny HEROs to the meta, have started to Main and Side Deck Loading... , which stops Loading... in its tracks and potentially Clock of Destiny 's MST search as well by popping Loading... on your opponents turn. Overall, Harpies have maintained their dominance in the meta since they have their searchable draw engine with Loading... letting them draw into their techs and backrow.

Tier 2

TPC Comments

Destiny HEROs have found their way into Tier 2 due to the success the deck has been having, having a guaranteed Loading... in the starting hand from Clock of Destiny and safety for a turn with Loading... is what gives this deck its power, providing both strong offense and defense. This becomes troublesome for most decks to deal with. The deck also has good draw power from Loading... and Loading... , which makes it so that the deck can draw into more techs or offensive cards like Loading... and Loading... to make big pushes for game.

Destiny HEROs have officially proven themselves with the recent addition of Loading... and Loading... , allowing them to reach Tier 2 this week. Having a searchable Loading... via Clock of Destiny has made decks start to main deck their own copies of MST just to stop Clock Tower from gaining a fourth Clock Counter. Thes deck has shifted the matchup spread in a short timespan, and with it being the only deck able to search MST, I predict it will remain a solid option going forward. Loading... has also been seen occasionally in Destiny HEROs, as it summons Loading... which grants you a non-targeting pop that your opponent is forced to respond to. Destiny HEROs also have consistent synergy with each other, as using Loading... to Draw 2 can win games. Loading... also has great synergy with the deck (even though it's not searchable) as it's another way to get Celestial or another Destiny HERO to fuel Celestial's Draw 2.

Melodious is still a great choice in this meta, as they have proven to be effective against almost every rogue and meta deck (with Harpies being the only exception). Recently, more Melodious have started to Main Deck Loading... , as it allows you to revive other key combo pieces or even Fusions from your Graveyard. Also with the popularity of Loading... rising, if your opponent pops the Buddy Force you have the chance to thin your deck as a bonus.
