Secrets of EternityBraver Victory was released in November 2022. This set introduced Infernoids to Duel Links, gave support to Dracoslayers, Metalfoes and Ancient Gears. And included a new archetype that could (will try to) combat the Salamangreat meta: Mekk-Knights.

Outside of some experimentation derived either from boredom of the norm or new BOX hype, TPC still expects Salamangreat to do well. We will have to see if anything from the High Potential pool can reliably compete with a near-guaranteed Omni-Negate in Loading... Turn 1 and Loading... sacks Turn 2.
Salamangreat, the top-dog of the format, will have to adapt to counter the new threat in Mekk-Knights. Some builds are even using Mekk-Knights themselves as an engine.
With the new decks brought to us by the latest main box, salad players might struggle a little more than usual for a short while as they adapt to them. Changes in tech choices, deck sizes, or even added engines might have to change for them to keep their tier 0 status, but I'm far from convinced that they won’t be keeping tier 0 until a ban list comes after the kcc. The new decks are fun and entertaining, but taking down a tier 0 will require some crazy consistency from them.
Tier 2

Odd-Eyes managed to win the last Meta Weekly, but the gameplan remained mostly the same: Maindeck Loading... for Salamangreat and hope that the Rank-4 and Rank-7 Xyz Toolbox can make up for that concession against the rest of the field. With the new box, however, the field will definitely get larger as players experiment with new decks, which might mean main decking direct Salamangreat hate will be punished a lot more frequently, so we'll have to see what's in store for Odd-Eyes in the future.
