Tier 1

Orcust stays as easily the best deck. Compared to both Odd-Eyes and Rokkets its weaknesses are not as pronounced and the power of Orcust is still beyond everything else currently in the game. That said, the deck now has to choose which decks it wants to build to beat. If you play the hand-trap version or the backrow version you struggle against decks the other version does better against. At least we now have this dilemma where Orcust has to figure out its best version for the meta, implying that maybe there isn't one, requiring the deck to adapt to the meta. Alongside the proven Pure Orcust variant, there is also the already mentioned potential for hybrid versions with Onomats, Odd-Eyes or even Gandora. It's going to be interesting to see what comes on top leading into the WCS but its bound to be Orcust or one of its variants.

Tier 2

Odd-Eyes stocks are up as the archetype receives some pretty nice support. Of course, the best support had to be the Raging Pendulum Skill (because Konami likes to release dumb skills and then needing to nerf them after a couple months...). The Skill effectively lets you set up the whole board from having 2 scales (Loading... and Loading... ), the skill makes the deck very powerful but also very frail as it can be interrupted easily with a Loading... . That said, Odd=Eyes has amazing consistency and it's mostly liked because it can make the famous Loading... + Loading... / Loading... board going first (from just Loading... + Loading... ), which can usually be an auto-win against Orcust. That being said, the deck can also go second as Loading... allows you to pop a backrow. The deck has some great strengths but some glaring weaknesses so its doubtful its going to overtake Orcust, but its still nice to get a deck that somewhat can go second and can win against the best deck. We have also been seeing Orcust Odd-Eyes hybrids which in theory try to fix the issues of both archetypes, but the consistency then doesn't seem promising. Regardless of how the meta shapes up, there is a lot of deck building potential with a lot of archetypes that can be played around with - engines like Odd-Eyes, Orcust, and Onomat can be thrown together and can have some pretty cool synergy.

Odd-Eyes rise up to Tier 2. Raging Pendulum is good with its ability to net you three cards and set up the Loading... + Rank 4 plan that the deck is known for. They have a hard time going second into Rokket as they can cut you off from your Skill by removing your only copy of Loading... with Loading... .

The recent addition of Loading... boosts the deck's consistency even more, depending on how many copies you choose to run. Also being a LIGHT gives access to Loading... in its Extra Deck toolbox for a draw 2 option.

Besides the potential +3 from Raging Pendulum , the switch to builds with more Pendulum Magician cards gives the deck access to backrow or monster destruction in Loading... & Loading... , LIGHT Monster negates in Loading... , recovery with Loading... and monster banish with Loading... .

Some builds are running non-archetype monster techs like Loading... or Loading... , but these might suffer from bricking more often.

The deck can stand up to Orcust, but is not a direct counter. A turn one Loading... + Loading... board can be effective but is not always enough to secure a game if Orcust opens combo + techs. Going second into Rokket's Loading... combo is an issue since the banish will turn off your skill.

Rokkets move up as well, but in my opinion, only because the competition isn't that great. Pure Onomats, Chronomaly, D/D/D and Solfachord have some pretty big issues which harms their ability to consistently impact the meta. Rokket's engine is reasonably consistent, and when coupled with backrow you get the second coming of Gouki. The deck floats like crazy and has some unique strengths like Loading... 's Extra Deck rip (which is overrated but it still can be very impactful when removing Loading... or Loading... ). That said, like I was saying the deck has its issues, going second into both Orcust or Odd-Eyes can easily spell death. As such, it's just a "spicy" version of the go first deck we see everywhere in the meta. Even going first the deck isn't overly safe, as some decks can push through a suboptimal Rokket setup. In conclusion, like Odd-Eyes the deck has some glaring weaknesses but also glaring strengths, but Rokket's difficulty going second lowers its ceiling substantially.
