This current update reflects the direction the meta has shifted, with there being three clear best decks that all have shown to dominate respectively. Water Xyz remains as a steady and tried option, but is not alone in Tier 1 anymore as Star Seraph Darklords and Blue-Eyes have continued to ascend. Darklords have the most Turn 1 potential out of any deck in the format and can completely blow decks out of the Water with the "Stick and Chair" combo. Blue-Eyes can constantly pressure any deck with mass summoning of huge monsters on Turn 3 or make Loading... Turn 1 which is virtually Loading... in this format that can also negate relevant effects like Loading... or Atlantean effects in the graveyard. The rest of the decks in the Tier List are great in their own right, but have noted issues that seperate them from the three best decks. Therefore, the TPC has chosen to reflect this meta in the newest Tier List update by placing no decks in Tier 2 with decks only in Tier 1 and Tier 3.

Blue Eyes is promoted to Tier 1 by virtue of it being the only deck that can consistently beat Star Seraph Darklords. Looking at the other matchups, you have tools to win all of them, which elevates the deck from its previous Tier 2 status. Even Water Xyz is more than beatable, since Blue Eyes moved to a build focused on running Loading... (Which can ruin any Water player's day) and Loading... to turbo out Loading... or generally apply more pressure. Bricks still exist, and sometimes you'll just look at your hand thinking why the heck you're still playing this game, but I guess you can make that up by looking at those big dragons sitting there doing nothing in your opener.

In my opinion, Star Seraph Darklords is the best pick in the Meta. The ability to just Side 7 1-ofs and then being 100% guranteed to use your Destiny Draw is insane. The Star Seraph engine is still the best one in the game because drawing cards is pretty good and then you also have the really good Xyz Monsters like Loading... to rip 1 card out of your opponent's hand and, if it survives,Banish 1 out of their grave or bounce a card back to their hand, Loading... to pop 2 cards (the first of which can't be responded to), and of course the Loading... cheese. The second part of the deck is the good old Darklord engine, which also is also really strong, having built-in negates, revival, draw power, and removal. I think the deck has an edge above the other two Tier 1 deck but its just a slight one because of its insane power ceiling and siding ability.

Water remains at Tier 1 as a decent overall deck and a gatekeeper to weaker decks with its ability to lockdown the GY, have Loading... pop and being able to play Loading... as well as Loading... .

Water Xyz remain Tier 1, however, is likely going to fall in value because of the rise of Star Seraph Darklords. Water Xyz struggles at fighting for card advantage against most decks, and their primary means of competing with Blue-Eyes is highly dependent on going first. Darklords do not activate any card effects in the graveyard which makes Loading... an ineffective floodgate, and the Loading... and Loading... interruption is mitigated by the card advantage the Star Seraph Engine generates and the protection effect of Loading... .
