Notice

This Tier List is being made after the Skill Balance Update but before it is officially been implemented.

This is more a predictive Tier List than usual. After the Skill Balance changes, it is expected that pre-Tachyon format decks like Tenyi and Mayakashi will rise again.

Tier 1

TPC Comments

Shiranui remains Tier one but its status can change if the Skill Changes prove to be more impactful than anticipated. Not having easy access to Loading... or Loading... is huge, as their main consistent play is now Loading... + whatever drawn techs. It's still a strong board but I would expect Shiranui would need to adapt to stay on top.

With Tachyon essentially gutted (and banned from tourneys until Skill changes are implemented later this month), it is expected for the format to mostly revert back to pre-Tachyon of Galaxy box. Shiranui is the one deck holding on from that box and is still anticipated to be the best, despite the consistency hit going second due to Skill change. Depending on Shiranui's performance, the other Tier 2 and Tier 3 decks can now tech heavily against it, namely with Loading... and Loading... .

Tier 2

Pre-Tachyon Format decks (namely Mayakashi and Tenyi) are expected to be competitive again, since the matchup spread becomes diverse once again (only now with the addition of Blue-Eyes and Shiranui, which are strong but not oppressive). They have done quite well in early format tournaments.

Blue-Eyes has been consistently getting tops in the past weeks (even with Tachyon domination). The ability to set up a board with Loading... + Loading... + 1 Staple makes it hard to break. Now that Tachyon's gone we should expect Blue-Eyes to perform even better.
