Tier 1

TPC Comments

There are no much difference between current meta and pre-banlist meta, with the main difference being Shiranui and Tachyon being weaker due to their respective hits. Both decks are so powerful (thanks to consistency Skills), that they are still unbeatable even after their hits. Tachyon's Turn 1 is weaker, but if they survive Turn 2 they can then recover and go for the Galaxy Package OTK. To control Tachyon going first you need at least 2-3 interruptions and no current deck is capable of doing that consistently (aside from Shiranui, that aims to mill Loading... , stall out with Loading... or attempts to survive with Loading... pops). We are considering both Shiranui and Tachyon Tier 1 but Tachyon still a slightly better deck, edging out in almost every tournament last week.

With an insane consistency skill, insane grind game, and a good match-up by going through the Loading... line to mill Loading... : Shiranui can set-up or break a board with ease, which gives it versatility that puts it above all other decks (besides Tachyon currently).

Tachyon lost some pluses off Loading... (that could basically seal off a game) and the FTK (that would prevent you from playing the game). That being said, the Loading... hit didn't hurt that much, as the Skill was untouched and you can just search an Omni-Negate on top of being a consistency skill. The aggression of the Rank 8 package is still there to close games and dismantle boards effortlessly, while also being able to floodgate GY=reliant decks through Loading... . Overall, we all knew this deck had the potential to stay Tier 1 with only wrist-tap nerfs and no changes to the Skill.

Tier 3

Tier 3 is a collection of topping decks in recent tournaments, proving they can go against Shiranui/Tachyon given the right conditions, but in most cases those conditions needed to be ideal. Blue-Eyes for example can easily get two interruptions in the form of Loading... and Loading... , which is sometimes enough to Survive Tachyon's turn 2. Going second, they can play through 1-2 interruptions and still end on a decent board (Loading... , Loading... , Loading... or Loading... ).
