Announcement fromWith the end of the season approaching this will be the last Tier List for this Iteration of TPC, with April rolls in so will a new iteration of Top Player Council, look forward to it!
Tier 1
Surprise surprise, Phantom Knight is still the best deck. Nothing really changed from the last week, and nothing will change with the new box: expect this to be the prime deck for this week again and going into KC.
Tier 2
TPC Comments
Abyss Actors and Harpies find themselves once again as the "next best decks" (aside from Phantom Knights) for another week. Both decks offer strong options in their main engines, with Abyss Actors starting off with a free pseudo-Loading... to stun the meta and Harpies crushing every Rogue deck with its board control and card advantage loop. They both however have their very obvious chokepoints if they're forced to go second, whether it be the Normal Summon from Harpies (with limited-to-no Loading... access) or a well-timed backrow removal on the Loading... . These weaknesses are just not as prevalent with Phantom Knights, making the division much more present, despite both being strong decks in their own right.
Tier 3
TPC Comments
Buster Blader theoretically has no winning matchup in the Tier :ist besides for Abyss Actors, and even then it stays up: that's because it's arguably the biggest gatekeeper deck we have along with Harpies, as it completely destroys most Rogue strategies and shuts them down before they're able to do anything. Side Deck severely hinders it, but not to unplayability, and Buster itself has capable Side Deck tools against most strategies (with Harpies being probably the hardest to counter) like Loading... and Loading... , which unfortunately (like the deck itself) only really shine while going first.
