Tier 1

TPC Comments

If the recent KCGT has proven anything, it is that Burning Abyss definitely deserves to stay in the Tier 1 spot. With the most overall representation within the Top 10, and even taking first place in the KCGT 2nd stage with an amazing winrate, Burning Abyss can be said to be the best performing deck in the last KCGT. Most recent builds have opted to run more techs such as Loading... and Loading... . Do note that in a side-deck format, some specific side-deck cards may hamper some of its plays, so be prepared for those.

As expected, Burning Abyss performed well in the recent KCGT (even taking 1st Place). Loading... was the missing piece for this deck to become Tier 1. Like every KC Cup or KCGT, there are always spicy decklists showing up. We saw several lists using Destiny Draw or Draw Sense: High-Level with Loading... and Loading... . The surprise factor was definitely one of the reasons why the deck performed well, on top of it already being a Tier 1 deck. It is still expected to do well in side deck format, but be prepared to face Loading... s.

Turns out using light handtraps like Loading... , Loading... and Destiny Draw was the best deck all along.

As we re-enter a side deck format for tournaments, D/D/D once again reigns on top. With amazing flexibility in the deck and the ability to see side cards relatively easily using Loading... , this deck is definitely the best choice for side format events.

D/D/D remain Tier 1 as it's just the best deck when it comes to Side Deck. Turn 1 Loading... , especially in side format drawing your techs, gives you a huge boost and thus why D/D/D remain Tier 1.
