Tier 1
TPC Comments
After dominating performances throughout the last tournaments, Odd-Eyes Orcust is promoted to Tier 1. The main issue of the deck is consistency, but a strong hand can easily beat any deck, their ideal turn 1 of Loading... , Loading... , Loading... and a Rank 4 of choice is nearly unbeatable and needs very specific hands to have a fighting chance against.
With the power of the orcust variation, Odd-Eyes raises to Tier 1. The deck has been the strongest deck (in my opinion) of the format post-banlist. The deck's ability to gatekeep every Trap deck from the meta and deal with pretty much every single endboard going second is unmatched, which is why it's Tier 1.
Odd-Eyes joins Speedroid as a Tier 1 Deck. With the power of the Orcust engine, this deck has been dominating in tournaments and fares well against most decks. IT can produce a powerful board consisting of Loading... , Loading... , and Loading... to protect against and play through diruption.
While it should be noted that the Orcust engine is what brings Odd-Eyes to Tier 1 the deck is also strong without them. The newest variations use Loading... sending Loading... or Loading... to make a Level 8 Synchro Turn 1. This can lead to an endboard consisting of Beatrice, a Rank 4 Xyz Monster, and either Loading... or Loading... .
