Tier 1
maysFullmodenexMemento is powerful and consistent even without a dedicated Skill like other decks. It performs very well both going first and going second.
Going first, it can establish Loading... , Loading... , Loading... , Loading... , and either Loading... or Loading... . The most important part is that you don't need a specific opening hand, and Loading... can dodge Loading... with its effect.
You also have Loading... in hand to prevent your opponent from targeting your Memento monsters, alongside Loading... , which can steal an opponent's monster.
Going second, the deck can play through interruptions thanks to its multiple ways to dodge effects, so it can normally win against any board. You can also attack directly with Loading... using Loading... 's effect.
Memento has plenty of ways to play against almost every deck. No other deck has this much consistency, which is why it belongs in Tier 1.
MizarEven without a dedicated Skill, Memento is doing well. Its Turn 1 is strong enough to win against most decks.
Its ability to play through handtraps and interruptions, alongside the boost it gets from Precious Cards of the Dark , is enough to make it Tier 1.
!tachiThere aren't many major changes to the meta this week, apart from Memento establishing itself as a true Tier 1 deck. Players have also found a combo with Loading... that prevents the opponent from activating any Spell Cards until the end of the next turn.
Even without that combo, the deck is already strong enough both going first and going second.
AxtroMemento is very flexible and can play through different handtraps, making it one of the best choices in this meta.
Memento is the clear Tier 1 deck of the format. It can consistently play around the most popular handtraps while establishing boards that are nearly impossible to break.
Going second, the deck has an absurd number of ways to push through interruptions, alongside a cheesy OTK option with Loading... and Loading... .
Tier 2
maysFullmodenexBranded is no longer the most efficient deck thanks to Memento, but it's still good and powerful enough. The banlist hasn't really affected its consistency, as Loading... replaces the missing copies of Loading... and keeps the deck stable. However, losing access to the maximum number of Bystials has hurt it a little, since those cards can disrupt the opponent's combo.
The deck moves to Tier 2 because Memento is better, rather than because Branded has become weak. Branded itself can beat Memento if the player knows how and when to use their effects to stop the Memento player from dodging them.
The deck has a new competitor and is now Tier 2, but I expect it to make a comeback against Memento over the next few weeks.
In my opinion, cards such as Loading... , Loading... , and Loading... , played by decks that already have a solid Turn 1 against Branded, will push it down.
