Tier 1
Negative1T0 Sebastian W.The new skill focuses heavily on summoning Loading... , which is now the second longest skill in the game right behind the last skill that also focused on summoning Quasar. If you haven't noticed, designing a skill around summoning Quasar is a bit difficult for Konami, since if you want the skill to imitate the anime you have to provide access to multiple signer dragons and things get out of hand too quickly. In the past people have complained that skills do too much and I think often times these complaints were overly dramatic. Now, we have a skill that enables double Quasar with Loading... turn 1 and unreactable Quasar or Loading... wipe turn 2, along with access to any tuner in the game. I think anything that improves the viability of turn 2 is a positive as it helps combat the going first bias that card design has observed for the past decade, but even I think this skill does too much.
norentinoThe newest skill for Yusei pushes the deck to even higher heights turn 1 and 2, but limits the monsters you can play heavily, making it really hard to have good follow up as of now. Spawning a free Loading... that is not negated and no pre-hits on any relevant cards enables the deck to play Loading... in any variant, while also searching for hand traps if you have already started with a search target. The most prominent options are Loading... (which can stop Loading... when going second) or Loading... . It remains to be seen how decks will adapt to it over the following weeks. As of now, the deck has the strongest turn 1 in the game.
SmaSma227This deck can spam an insanely broken endboard that is weak to no hand traps except Loading... , and even under Droll you will end on Loading... , Loading... , and Loading... setup plus a pop. This makes it so your opponent still has to draw Loading... and Loading... . The deck is insanely dumb and is looking like a tier zero unless other decks find a real counter to it.
peris2The deck kills Therion, but for what cost? We just switched toxic for toxic, so the meta is keeping its downward trend. Also, it is by far the strongest deck, and exactly that happened what I feared with the limit 3 on Loading... . Why can the strongest deck play Droll? Why can a deck with no normal summon freely play Loading... ? Already strong enough decks are benefiting even more because of little decisions like that.
Well that Loading... limit 1 sure was funny. I am sure that means we won't be seeing Loading... searching it again, right?
Well, no. The deck adds Necrovalley, so currently it is a counter to Therion, and the deck's skill provides it the ability to search any tuner and field spell. We have seen FTK boards with a comical number of negates and extra deck rips being made with this deck, and more is sure to come. What is for sure true is that this deck will warp the meta around it for the time being, as it is a combo deck with a very oppressive turn 1 that typically ignores most hand traps and cards like Loading... and occasionally Loading... as it can search a counter trap due to the Centur-Ion cards. Get ready to rev it up because Yusei is going to leave his mark of the dragon in this meta.
Tier 3
T0 Sebastian W.norentinoTherion now has to adapt because Stardust consistently gets to Loading... plus 2 or 3 negates, while the deck itself cannot run Loading... . It still has an incredibly overwhelming turn 2, but Loading... and Loading... will not be good enough anymore since you need to set up a board instead to not just outright lose to Loading... .
Konami decided Stardust can search Loading... . Now Therion has to open both Loading... and Loading... to have a chance to win, which is pretty unlikely but not impossible, so it remains at tier 3.
