Tier 1
norentinoHΞΔVΞNCentur-Ion's Turn 1 and Turn 2 are really strong, as you can play as many handtraps as you want. The deck also plays well into handtraps, making the opponent hand-rip themselves for no reason while you leave 5+ interactions. The deck is just too strong. The only problem is Turn 2 if you open all engine.
TACNE FROG1Centur-Ion has one of the best Turn 1s in the game. Not only can it end on a very oppressive board, but it can also play very well into handtraps, making sure to always end on a very sticky and tricky layered board to deal with.
On top of that, it also generates advantage with up to +2 draws on its own turn and the ability to go +2 draws on the opponent's turn as well. Paired with a large number of tech slots, this makes the deck resilient to other decks' Turn 2, since you can easily draw into Loading... , for example. Even if the opponent manages to break through the board, Loading... will just stop them.
Going second, this deck also has good tools to deal with the current decks. Not only can you rely on your techs, but you can also rely on The Courage to Rise to grab Loading... and force something. Another thing that helps a lot is the ability to chain block most effects using Loading... , Loading... , or even Loading... 's GY effect.
TACNE FROG1Centur-Ion's Turn 1 is currently the best, thanks to its ability to run many handtraps, making it the best Turn 1 deck. Also, because it draws a lot of cards, it is very easy to have many interruptions in the form of handtraps, in addition to those the deck naturally provides. The only downside is its Turn 2; it can become very fragile if it does not draw an out to the opponent's field.
MizarVaalmonica simply has the most solid and hardest-to-break Turn 1. Its biggest weakness is Loading... , but since Vaalmonica players are now running Loading... , most players are opting to also run Loading... , as it is another handtrap that affects Vaalmonica somewhat, and this handtrap can be activated even with Loading... on the field.
The meta has become more reliant on the coin flip, mostly in the matchup between Centur-Ion and Vaalmonica. We hope the new box solves this by introducing a new meta suitable for Worlds.
Tier 2
norentinoTACNE FROG1Stardust is still not legal in tournaments or wars, but now that Centur-Ion has lines that are not affected as much by handtraps, I do not see a reason to play this. It is more inconsistent and has less tech space, but it is still better than anything except Tier 1 decks.
Stardust should not be included, since most tournaments prohibit Bonds of the Converging Stars , and the deck cannot realistically be represented.
