Tier 1
Branded is still the most powerful and consistent deck inthe meta, having the ability to end on Loading... , Loading... , Loading... and Loading... . This set-up allows the player to use Mirrorjade's effect twice with Loading... . making it so even board breakers like Loading... and Loading... alone aren't enough.
Going second, it has the ability to play around monster effects and most backrow (Book of Eclipse being an exception if used at a good point in time.)
Branded's power-level speaks for itself, resulting in players main-decking cards like Loading... in order to tip the scales for this matchup specifically (provided they go first).
Tier 2
Beetrooper is a deck that builds a strong board Turn 1 with incredibly consistency. Its going-first board consists of a floodgate Loading... , Loading... 's GY Banish, Loading... Banish on field, Loading... , and a big unaffected monster in Loading... .
Going second, Beetrooper has the ability to play around backrow and has the ability to search Loading... . It also runs three copies of Loading... which helps against Branded.
Beetrooper finds itself stably in Tier 2, with consistency and power being just behind Branded.
Tier 3
Eldlich cares about disruption rather than proactive comboes. Going first you can establish Loading... , Loading... , Loading... , floodgates like Loading... , handtraps, and even a potential Loading... /Loading... /Loading... (off of two Loading... s). You also hav ethe option to make Loading... to search Loading... .
Going second, it searches Loading... or Loading... and can finish the game with Rank 10 Xyz Monsters like Loading... and Loading... .
Eldlich is an effective anti-meta deck that mainly focuses on disrupting other decks. However, if anything happens to its Loading... it won't be able to perform effectively.
Shinbird's main strengths is its ability to recover resourvces and handle many situations. Going first it can either make Loading... or Loading... for extra draw to find techs (while of course setting up the Shinibird Ritual disruption on the opponent's turn).
Going second it wants to use Link Monsters and Ritual Monsters to attempt to pick apart the opponent's board.
Generally speaking, Shinobird has difficulty dealing with Loading... and negation on its Ritual Mosnters. Going second against Branded requires you to open enough techs to be able to play.
Shinobird is still powerful and consistent, but requires a bit too much to win against Branded reliably, which is why it has been demoted to Tier 3.
Shinobird's main problem right now seems to be their struggle in breaking top decks' boards (even with techs). Branded, Beetrooper, and Traptrix all feel bad to play into going second (while Eldlich is probably their favourite matchup in the current meta). Tier 3 is likely the best place for Shinobird right now, since going first is still quite strong and, to some degree, unfair when able to play uninterrupted.
