The meta feels rather solved and while there are some small fluctuations here and there, without a big shake-up there won‘t be a lot of changes. This is due to two rather disappointing banlists, most of the good decks already being at least two months old (meaning they're well-developed), and the summer off-season naturally dragging down activity (which makes people understandably demotivated). We know there‘s a big main BOX coming, so hopefully that changes things and brings some much-needed fresh air into the metagame.

With the meta settled, Shaddoll once again establishing itself as the best deck. Its plays are either too overwhelming, or Loading... punishes decks trying to make a board that could deal with Shaddoll. While other decks can win against it, no deck really has a favourable matchup against it. Hopefully the next BOX can introduce a deck that is capable of competing against Shaddoll (for a change of pace, at least).

Speedroid remains Tier 1 simply by being better than the decks in Tier 2. Despite this, I wouldn't necesarily say it's as good as Shaddoll.

While I have doubts about its usage in the upcoming week, Gusto has established itself as a powerful enough deck to have a place in the current metagame. Going first it can often make Loading... + Loading... + a searched Loading... . Loading... in place of Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon is an option to consider going first vs Ancient Gear and Utopia. Loading... is a valuable tech to play through Loading... . Loading... is a option going second to make an untargetable Loading... for easier OTKs. Being able to run Loading... is a great boon for the deck in some match-ups going first and second as the deck can OTK via Sphreez's effect and attacking the token. The deck however does struggle with its turn three and sometimes needs to topdeck its follow-up (e.g. Loading... ).
