Despia is now a centralizing force in the metagame, with a lot of decks now playing Loading... in order to stop Loading... and Loading... / Loading... to out Loading... . It's really not as dominant as Shaddoll was in the poast, but a lot of decks struggle to beat it: Shaddoll has problems in the grindgame against the large bodies (especially the untargetable Loading... ), Speedroid needs to open techs to deal with Masquerade / Loading... / First Darklord, and Ancient Gears has a coinflip matchup where the going-second Deck usually wins (although Despia OTKs easier with Loading... ). Utopia is the only deck that seems to have a pretty good Despia matchup, but Loading... easily shuts the deck down.
As expected, Despia has been promoted to Tier 1. In my opinion, Loading... is the best boss monster in the game, with its inability to be targeted and ease of Summoning. Also Theater of the Branded's Opening makes it incredibly consistent and powerful going first and second. On top of that Loading... is a must-answer threat with its ability to cap off the number of game actions the opponent can take to six. In conclusion, Despia's consistency and ability to play going first and second sits it comfortably in Tier 1 (we'll have to see if the rise of Loading... across the board can change that, considering the requirement to also answer Masquerade).
Shaddoll's matchup into Despia is very hard to play. First of all, you need to deal with Loading... (which is doable with Loading... or Loading... ), but from there it's really hard to OTK through Loading... and all the floating (which will put you in a disadvantageous grind-game where you have to deal with Loading... and Loading... . Shaddoll will also have to deal with Loading... (the best card to do this will be Loading... to send DARK monsters, with Loading... being able to recycle itself). Going first, you need to set-up Schism to make Loading... when they summon The First Darklord to blow up your field, and trigger a Loading... to summon something else to survive (you would also like to have Loading... in GY for follow-up). Some players have added Loading... to help with the matchup, but I don't think it's a great idea considering it doesn't help you make Fusions with its Attribute. Shaddoll is still a great deck but you need to play the Despia matchup very carefully since it will usually end up in a grind-game where resource management is pivotal. Its other matchups hadn't changed, but it's worth mentioning that you can play around D.D. Crow by searching Schism directly with Loading... or Apkallone (they can still banish other targets but ensuring Schism is important).

Chimera has proven its worth and has been placed on the Tier List at Tier 3.Chimera has a solid control strategy that can be annoying for other decks to deal with. The primary components contributing to its placement are:
- It's Turn 1 Setup of Loading... , Loading... / Loading... Protection from GY, and Loading... ripping out a card from hand in the End Phase, which is solid and not easily breakable.
- A Quick-Effect Revival that gives you access to follow-up or a Field-Type Floodgate like Loading... or Loading...
That being said, Chimera also has its downsides. It doesn't have amazing consistency unless you run low deck-counts (which stifles tech space). Other than that, Chimera is quite vulnerable to other decks' Turn 1 set-ups in the current meta, which makes it challenging for Chimera to go second. For now, it's a solid Tier 3 deck and we'll have to see how Chimera adjusts to cover the metagame while also patching its inherent downsides.
