Introduction and Summary
Hello! This is your F2P-duelist and gem-counter, 闇Mic, with this month's gem report. Included is every gem you could earn in December from events and campaigns to log-in bonuses. There is a timeline to visualize disbursement and a count for UR and SR Dream Tickets and Box Chips.
There was no level-cap increase this month, marking the first time Duel Links had no level-cap increase for an entire year. There were 2 new character unlocks and the main events, Immi Immimi and the GR Festival, overlapped which is unusual. Apology gems were gained this month, which happens very rarely.
Konami introduced the “Duelist Point” website to Duel Links players this month. It’s only available to players in Japan and USA. If you have access to it, you can obtain gems, dream tickets, and box chips.
The total amount of gems is a few hundred more than the previous 2 months, and a few hundred less than the world-update month. Events such as Tour Guide Mission Bingo and Duel Quest remain the same in gem reward amounts from month to month.
I’ve compared the gem pool to the content released and listed the resulting difference you would have to pay in real money just to keep up with the current cards at the often-necessary 3 UR copies. This may help de-obfuscate Crystal prices. Below are the results.
