Challenge Solutions

Solutions to challenges are listed here, but we encourage new players to try the challenges on their own as learning how cards interact together is crucial to improving as a duelist!

Tour Guide

Challenge #1 - Reward: 10 Gems

  1. Flip Arsenal and activate it's effect to add Gate Guardian to your hand.
  2. Xyz Summon Zubaba General, then activate it's effect to equip Gate Guardian.
  3. Enter the battle phase and attack for game!

Challenge #2 - Reward: R Ticket (Glossy)

  1. Activate Wagon's effect to add Soulpiercer to your hand, and normal summon it.
  2. Xyz summon Silvermountain and activate it's effect by detaching Wagon and target the face-down Drowning.
  3. Enter the battle phase and attack the Machine Attacker, then activate Silvermountain's effect to special summon Wagon, but don't activate Wagon's effect.
  4. Attack directly with Wagon for game!

Challenge #3 - Reward: 20 Gems

  1. Activate Rock Bombardment and send Gogogo Golem from the deck to the graveyard.
  2. Normal summon Gogogo Giant and activate it's effect to special summon Gogogo Golem, then Xyz summon Gagaga Cowboy in ATK position.
  3. Activate Gagaga Cowboy's effect, then activate Oni-Gami Combo to Cowboy.
  4. Enter the battle phase and attack both monsters for game!

Challenge #4 - Reward: Onikuji

  1. Normal summon Hammer Shark, then special summon Shark Stickers with it's own effect.
  2. Activate Lemuria, the Forgotten City's effect to change the level of the monsters on the field.
  3. Activate Hammer Shark's effect to special summon Wind-Up Shark, then activate Wind-Up Shark and increate it's level to Xyz Summon for Shark Drake.
  4. Enter the battle phase, attack Toon Alligator with Shark Darke and finally use Shark Drake's effect to attack once again for game.

Challenge #5 - Reward: 20 Gems

  1. Normal summon Alexandrite Dragon, then activate Kagetokage's effect to special summon it.
  2. Xyz summon for Number 39: Utopia, then Chaos Xyz summon for Number C39: Utopia Ray.
  3. Activate Utopia Ray's effect and detach all 3 monsters to reduce Cosmo Queen ATK.
  4. Special summon Chaos Dragon Levianeer, and activate it's effect to destroy the 2 Witch's Apprentice.
  5. Enter the battle phase and attack for game!
