Overview
In case you missed it, This Week's Meta Weekly was our first Tournament Post-Zexal Launch. It was also the first after the big banlist hit to all the old meta decks. Unfortunately, none of the Zexal decks made it to Top 32 this time around, instead being replaced by the even older meta decks like Crystrons and Ritual Beasts. However, after everything was through, it was heyheycraig blasting through Socram's Ritual Beasts with his post-nerf Blackwings in the Finals.

How does it feel to win your first Meta Weekly?
I have no words my dude. It feels amazing. I felt it coming though these last few months! When the Raikiri pop went through I was so pumped!
Anything you'd like to tell us about yourself?
Well, I started playing the TCG in 2004 and played until 2015-ish. I also worked for TCG store Alter Reality Games for 6 years and traveled with them and did their Twitch and Youtube. Of course, I am also a streamer and host tourneys for Duel World and I play for De-Fusion in Clan Wars!
Why did you go with Blackwings this Meta Weekly?
So I was going to play Gagaga today because I've played Blackwings nonstop for last 4 months. I was testing with NaW and he said "play BW you fool it's really good right?", so here we are. I am actually super pumped for the new stuff although its a little underwhelming right now. It will get better with time but the Gagaga deck in particular has future potential.
Anything you'd like to say about your decklist?
Yeah so Loading... doesn't really replace Loading... . Close was a bomb in and of itself but Offerings is kind-of like a Loading... for monsters. It just helps pop that extra monster to go for the OTK. Without Close, I took out the Loading... and added Loading... , which I normally sided (I never used it today though). The Loading... was my spice if I ever got clogged, but I didn't think of using it to play around Loading... until it happened in the Finals.

Yes! Shout-out to Snyffus oHiMi and Lorenzo Roma for giving advice and being rock stars during Top 32! Shout-outs to De-Fusion and Rihanna too!
