Interview with Lorenzo Roma

How does it feel to win your first Meta Weekly?

It feels awesome! I've been playing DLM Tournaments for 3 years and have like 10 2nd Places by now. Feels very rewarding to finally make it all the way

What made you go with Crystrons, especially given your penchant for Rogue decks?

I've been playing the "best decks" for the better part of 2 months now. I usually stick to the Top Tier decks for DLM events. Crystron is the only deck right now that has no real bad matchups and I always prefer these type of decks over playing matchup roulette.

Would you like to explain any of your Deck choices?

After a lot of testing with Level Duplication I just came to the conclusion that despite Loading... not always doing a lot, just having the Field Spell makes the solo Loading... or Loading... openings a lot better by beeing able to go into Loading... .

After that, I just thought that there's no point to playing Loading... and I just wanted to hard draw SSA as much as possible to give me a sort-of "better have the out" alternate win condition

Lastly, do you have any shout-outs you would like to make?

I'd just like to shoutout my Team De-Fusion for constantly beeing in voice calls and just generally making this game a lot more fun for me.

Special shoutout to oHiMi for staying with me till the end after he almost fell asleep

Also shoutouts to my girlfriend for staying awake with me and reminding me to drink water
