Overview
A lot has happened this season of Clan Wars, a lot of New Clans, old ones coming back and more! And as we are now in Week 7 of Clan Wars we wanted to take some time to talk with the Clan that as of right now it's still undefetead going 6-0 so far! So, without futher ado, let's get started with our interview!
Interview with X-Factors
This is the first time your Clan debuts in Clan Wars, what are you thought on it?
These days more and more Japanese Duel Links players come to join overseas champions league. But there are still many who deserve to but haven't joined because of the linguistic problems. Kiruma and Tetsuya collected such competitive Japanese players and applied for CW. At this moment, we are luckily ranked at the 1st, but have experienced hugely tough games. It means in CW lots of talented, competitive players participate from all over the world. CW works as a good training field for us and helps improve us. We really thank CW mods for accepting our proposal with good cheer.
Anything you would like to share about your Clan?
X-Factors originally started as a domestic clan, but is willing to welcome well-motivated players from outside Japan. At this time we play and enjoy with two foreign players. Although our roster of this season is filled, we are waiting for your application!!
What do you think about this meta? How did it influence your decks choice during the wars?
The current meta seems like an arena of rival warlords, such as Dark Magician, Shiranui, Crystrons, Black Wings and so on. We regard it as a good one in that every deck works as a counter against another. Such meta helps us develop a game plan: we decided to plan a strategy not of winning the game easily but of making our line-up unassailable. That is, we don't aim for taking the first 2 games in a row, but win by 2-1. Best clan mates have played on such a best strategy. That's why we haven't been defeated so far.
How was your previous matches against other Clans you faced?
We sometimes experienced such adverse situations that we are about to lose, but all the participants did their best and won at last. We always face tough games, but enjoy them.
What are you thoughts on your next opposing clan? (Faceless Duelists)
Faceless Duelists has many top-ranked players. We may face a plight also this time, but do our best and win the match!! Let's have good games!!
Any comment from your best player so far (〜Sow〜)?
In X-Factors, we have a special but terrifying system called "Kumi of the week." Kumi is a female name and a notorious "rank" given to the worst player of the week. We don't want to be labeled as Kumi, which forces us to train before the war day. I (SOW) have trained the best in XF in order to avoid such humiliation. So I am the best in XF.
Finally, what were your toughest war so far?
Of course, it was a war against Forbidden Memories. At the 1st round, we unexpectedly got defeated by 5-0. But God blessed us, we won finally.
