In case you missed it, Konami held a Yu-Gi-Oh! Remote Duel Invitational where top players from their Duel Links Remote Duel Extravaganza events, many of whom are DLM Alumni, and fight it out for the chance at glory and prizes. In the finals, we had
How does it feel to participate in official Konami Duel Links Events?
Very excited for making it this far but sad that I lost the final, but I lost against one of the best players of Duel Links so it was something to be expected.
What did you think about Konami's format for the Remote Duel Invitational?
It feels like rock paper scissors most of the time, even thought that bo5 would have never changed any of my results, as for decklists I like more the new format of 12 side cards over no submission, it makes you play the best deck at the moment because you will always have the techs to the usual counters and or any rogue deck.
What decks did you bring to the tournament and why?
Harpies was clearly the best deck of the format, Thunder Dragons I wanted to surprise a little out of the conventional, Melodious for when I thought my rival would go for a counter of Harpie and Lunalights because I wanted to surprise, most of the participants are friends of mine, so they knew that I didn't have Loading....
What are your overall takeaways from the event?
In general terms, a little slow but was understandable, everyone was playing really careful to not give away anything.
What would you want to see added to Duel Links to help with more tournaments
Better decks and features for Matches, like bo3 or bo5.
Do you think we should see more official Konami Duel Links Tournaments?
Of course, more events like this are the best to encourage the community to play more and get better.
Lastly, do you have any shout-outs you'd like to make?
To all my teammates of Forbidden Memories and Michizure United, as well to everyone who supported me from the Skull Meister Club community.
