In case you missed it, this week's Meta Weekly was the first weekly after the release of the new Mini Box! We saw tons of variety and new decks in Swiss and Top Cut. The finals, however say the almost poetic matchup between

How does it feel to win this Meta Weekly?
It feels really good not gonna lie. I've been playing mostly rogue decks the past few months (with little success), so to finally do well again is great!
Why did you go with Harpies this Weekly?
Well first off, I knew a lot would be hyped on Abyss Actors, and Harpies is the best well-rounded deck at beating that, while not having a real hard counter either. I think the 30-card build sucks because it's a lot less consistent. It's weaker than Water and using Discard Traps when you don't have Loading... / Loading... usually doesn't end well. So I chose to go with the small build instead, which also sees its Side Deck a lot more often (shoutout to Loading... in the Finals).
How did the day go for you? Any notable matchups?
My most notable matchup was probably my Top 16 match against
's Chronomaly. All three of our games were back-and-forth and came down to top decks.
Would you like to explain any of your Deck choices?
Well I mainly wanted to build my deck for Water Xyz and the mirror, while having extra backrow hate in the side for Pendulum decks or decks like Gaia, so I went with 2 Loading... , as it's really good against Harpies and Water, and the 1 Loading... was essentially just a fourth copy of Loading... , as stuff like Loading... / Loading... aren't good against Loading... with Loading... as Xyz Material. The one random Loading... was like a pseudo-second copy of Loading... , where it gets you more than full combo (but you have to wait a turn for it), and both of its effects helped me win a lot.
Do you have anything else you'd like to say about your Tournament Experience?
The tournament went pretty smooth and some of my matches were fun back and forth so that was nice.
