Overview

In case you missed it, this week's 200th Meta Weekly was a big weekly for new decks, with several Desiny HEROs and even some D/D/D making Top Cut. In the finals, we had a fresh matchup between

's Destiny HEROs and 's D/D/D's, with Frost coming out on top for his second Meta Weekly win!

Interview with Frost

How does it feel to win this Meta Weekly?

It feels so good! my last meta weekly win was like 2 years ago, and to win another one after this long time feels so awesome!

Why did you go with Destiny HEROs this Weekly?

I wanted to try out something new and checked some decklists from other players. In the end i decided to try out Destiny Heroes.

How did the day go for you? Any notable matchups?

Luck is part of the game and in this Meta Weekly I had a lot of it. A lot of time I opened the techs I needed and won with them. The most tense moments were against the mirror matches and Harpies with Loading... in the Main Deck.

Would you like to explain any of your Deck choices?

I copied the deck and changed it based on my playstyle. there is a lot of variety in building this deck, feel free to test them all. I never used Loading... from the side. its a good card but I never found use for it. I need to test more with it and than decide whether or not to keep it or exchange it for another card. I also read some comments about three copies of Loading... . Personally, I brick to often with three and think two is enough, but its not bad to add a third one to the deck.

Do you have anything else you'd like to say about your Tournament Experience?

I'm glad I won this, but I have to be honest here, I was often lucky and drew the cards I needed. I misplayed quite a lot in some matches and even on stream. Some players deserved to win here instead of me. I'm not a Pro Player and I accepted that a while ago, but I'll never give up and will continue to enjoy Duel links. So if there is a new player who's hesitating to join a Tournament just because they are afraid of doing mistakes, don't worry about it, learn from it, and enjoy the game. As you can see, even a Potato like me can win with enough ambition :)

Lastly, do you have any shout-outs you'd like to make?
