How does it feel to win this Meta Weekly?
It feels great! It was one of my goals and I am very happy to achieve it.
Why did you go with Harpies this Weekly?
I think it is the best deck in the format. Also the popularity of Melodious made Lunalight disappear from the meta. So the deck has no more real counters and a good to decent match-up against all other decks in the meta.
How did the day go for you? Any notable matchups?
The day went smoothly. I went 10-0 during the whole tournament and didn't lose a game in all of Top Cut. The deck worked perfectly. A notable match-up was in Round 4 of Swiss against
and his Infernity deck. He started both Games 1 and 2 with his full combo, which was very threatening, but I was able to beat him in the Game 1 thanks to Loading... + Loading... . The third game was easier because he didn't draw his combo.
Would you like to explain any of your Deck choices?
I have tested many harpie builds since the beginning of the format and I am very happy with this decklist. The Loading... was a very good choice, it gives you more utility with Loading... , a good follo=up, and it is a good discard for Loading... . It also combines well with Loading... and Loading... to give you card advantage and let you win the grind games. The ratio of 1 Loading... and 1 Loading... was also great. With this ratio you can play only one Loading... (which is the worst card to draw) and have more space for tech cards. TTH should be banned, it is too powerful and lets you to win games on its own. I wouldn't change anything in the Main Deck, but perhaps the Extra or Side Deck could change with the meta.
