Interview with Negative1

How does it feel to win another Meta Weekly?

I do not remember how many I have won, but winning is nice. I think getting too attached to wins and too displeased with losses is unhealthy so I try not to make a big deal out of it.

Why did you go with Onomat this Weekly?

I understand that other decks are played, however I do not believe any other deck can reliably compete with the power, speed, and consistency of Onomat in Side Deck format. I chose to use Onomat because I honestly do not see another option.

How did the day go for you? Any notable matchups?

To be honest, I am surprised I won so many Onomat mirrors. Generally, I believe the mirror is very RNG oriented and it is difficult to have an advantage, but in 5 sets of mirrors I lost a total of two games. I'm not sure what happened, but I won't complain about it.

Would you like to explain any of your Deck choices?

I don't think I would change anything in all honesty, I've practiced a lot of different builds of Onomat for the KCGT so at this point I just play with what I have.

Do you have anything else you'd like to say about your Tournament Experience?

It was fun playing a tournament again after so long. Typically I get annoyed that some people will hold up Swiss rounds, but after waiting 2 hours for a round to start in KCGT I wasn't that bothered this time. I hope to enter more events, I took a break from competing in most tournaments because I was practicing primarily for KCGT format and did not want to influence my decisions by playing with a Side Deck.

Lastly, do you have any shout-outs you'd like to make?

Thank you to

, , and the Mod Team for the tournament Shout outs to the homies and .
