Strikers should be alright. No Linkage or Widow Anchor and of course the later pieces of support, but it's nothing that can't be smoothed over with staples. No Rose or Drones either it seems. Bricking on no monsters could be serious issue.

Imagine being a Qli player and being hyped to play Towers only to pull Dream Mirrors (garbage), Brutal Dozer (useless if you're not into Infinitracks), T.G. Yes, that's totally true and I'll not argue with that, that's why Ogdoadic maybe can do something, snake rain is even reprinted here.

However its about what payoff can they offer in the current meta, some decks feel like they are going to do something remarkable, but what can you accomplish under a Galaxy board, or if it can survive zombie combo without non-engine.

At first glance, they do not seem good, and it's too early to just assume "this box is changing the game entirely". The box has good support, but the new decks don't seem like it, that's why I call it meh, and still going into it for t.g. support

What an utterly garbage and disappointing box. I genuinely have never seen such a poor excuse of a 5D’s support box. From the VRAINS support that was haphazardly slapped in to the whole TWO SYNCHRO MONSTERS that we got for the decks that needed better support, this entire box is only going to be dug by T.G. superfans and, god forbid, the Sky Striker Raye Simp Club.

This entire box is made even sadder by the fact that Synchron’s new skill only needed Accel Synchron to be good. And they couldn’t even do that for them. They truly chickened out at every level that this deck could have been good at. Konami are cowards who refuse to give the deck what it actually needs. Just give the deck Accel Synchron and Junk Speeder.

Anyway, skipping this box is something I highly recommend as it is just pure garbage besides the T.G.s.

I’m expressing my disappointment in the box, that was never an invitation for a babysitters club. \nThe box is just incredibly disappointing for a lot of people, especially considering the severe lack of actual support anywhere in this box. Synchron got nothing that they can ever use, we’d need speeder for wheel to be useful. T.G. got the best deal here, having their search spell added to the game alongside a brand new skill that actually does something (unlike synchron’s new skill that makes you play ssd tg ex + 3 backrow), sky striker is just sky striker its gonna be boring regardless of where you play it, and Ogdo is just a rank 8 funny deck. \nI once held hope that Konami had some idea of what they were actually doing. I’ve since lost that hope.

And the game can’t progress if you ignore that these past archetypes exist. T.G. and Synchron have had a myriad of new support cards released, as have basically every other 5Ds deck that exists. To say ‘Don’t go back and support decks’ is an insane take. Imagine if Dark Magician or BEWD had never received legacy support.

Take a deep breath. I think the box is great, but that's just my opinion. We all are entitled to our own opinions. I do agree that they should had added more Synchros, but I don't think this was meant to be a Synchro box, but more of an expansion just like the name suggests. You are assuming it was suppose to be a 5D Synchron support but you are very wrong, lol. That is your own fault for having that mindset. You expectations were set way to high. A lot of cards included into this box will change the game. Like the box states it has expanded a few archetypes such as Codetalkers, Gladiators, Dream Mirror, TG, Synchron, and even added new archetypes. You are overreacting. Go play MD if you want all the cards you listed. You should know by now this game moves a specific way.

The problem is Konami panders to every other series and leaves out 5Ds 99.99% of the time. Even the anime itself still doesn’t have an actual dub for the real final season. It just sucks that such an amazing show with amazing decks is getting so heavily shafted by Konami as a whole while you look at other TCG decks getting added left right and centre. We never needed to get Sky Striker. That was just unnecessary.

Okay so I understand now. You are a very big fan of 5D and you are upset this release was not good in your opinion in-terms of a 5Ds release, but if you look at the recent boxes you will see 5Ds have been getting a lot of love. If anyone is getting left behind in the burner I would say it's GX. Jaden seems to be the only one that matters, but that's just my opinion. I'm sure this is an opening to great things for 5Ds.

I am genuinely saddened by the fact that they slapped onomatopaira on this box. I have been waiting for it to get out of selection box purgatory and this is where they decide to put it? Maddening. I was expecting it to be in the Tachyon box and since that didn't happen I was waiting for the next zexal themed box - not whatever this is. It's barely even a 5ds box. It is mostly bait with URs - that if you want them, you have to get multiple copies - which sucks since it is a main box.

Almost no one knows, but in the Chinese version they released paira almost exactly 1 year ago in the Zexal launch box. and 2 months ago just in the penultimate mini box before the launch of arc-v - which by the way came with the Xsh&Xke skill - they had released trishula 0 along with atlantean dragoons/ice barrier, so it is disappointing to see the level with which they deal with the global version. Not only that, in the late mini they released: both sr/ur gadgets/ALL infinitrack cards except brutal dozer/the gadget archetype meme traps and the sherry on the cake: E.M.R. as Ur. It's also fair to say that not all boxes are as good but never as scattered. At least they could have put that card here in the middle of all the unjustifiable dispersed support and paira in some buffed structure with skill

This box is a mixed bag I hope ogdoadic s are good along with the new t.g. stuff but I won’t get my hopes up as you can never truly understand how a deck works in practice when compared to theory especially with duel links and of course raye has to be a ur for that waifu tax sky strikers probably aren’t even going to be that good without a main phase 2 so why bother making her a ur in a box that might not even end up having any long term staying power other than one or two cards and duel links might shut down before decks that can really use fusion deployment even come out so why bother

So, my take on this box is that its simply a support box for existing archetypes. People who own the decks can dig into it with all the great work with the archive skills old decks do needed the support. & people who don't have said previous decks can:\n1- go for sky striker which most people will (looks underwhelming currently) \n2- go for the pick up box to get TG & Synchron.\n3- personally Reptiles look really good & the L&D: Reptile skill makes somewhat f2p as you can add the UR starter from the skill\n4- skip the box.
