Notes & Combos

I changed this list quite a bit during the climb, as I demoted some times because of unfortunate combinations of bricking and going against unbreakable Odd-Eyes/Orcust boards. This is pretty much the final version of the deck, minus 1 copy of Lance over 1 copy of Speed Recovery, which I only changed for the very last game before reaching KoG, thus I didn't include it here.

The deck is quite strong, provided you don't open the tuners. You will open the tuners pretty often, but at least Wynn helps getting them in the GY. Speed Recovery is good for extending and, well, recovery; it also functions as bait for Cosmic Cyclone if necessary. As said earlier, I tried Lance for a bit, but I ended up preferring Recovery. 1 of each is probably better.

I used to run Hagoita and Stardust Charge Warrior in the Extra Deck, instead of Chanbara and Puzzle. Hagoita is good against Odd-Eyes and Speedroids, while Stardust Charge can unbrick some niche hands. However, these hands are rather uncommon and Hagoita didn't come up enough, so I cut them for Puzzle (ensures follow-up for the next turn) and Chanbara (secures important OTKs in many situations). I did not regret making these changes at all.

I included the two main versions of the deck that I played.
