Its honestly quite sad that people are actually using Venus strats in a 20 card format. World Chalice can perform far better without crippling itself by using the card, especially with people running transmodify to try and get to it faster. You’re running 6 to 9 unnecessary cards that will do nothing but hinder your deck if you can’t set up your winning strategy because of an interruption/board clear.

My point is that Venus is a garbage card in this deck compared to Unexpected Dai, Draconnet, and even Enchanting Fitting Room, all of which can accomplish the same thing as this card for less of a brick chance.

Why would draconnet be better? On summon, its one free body but Venus can give all 3 copies of Mystic Shine ball in one turn. Explain then

Yeah no, venus is by far the LEAST bricky starter alongside draconnet being able to summon monsters from hand and doesn't rely on an empty board or luck. She can also trigger skills, be played alongside draconnet dai and fitting room as seen above, represents 4 materials in one normals summon unlike the rest being 2 or less, and even has a synergistic typing attribute and level with lee if you want to play things like transmodify, downbeat, monstermorph evolution/de-evolution(which she can even trigger by herself) and the herald handtraps if you want to get wacky. You literally couldn't ask for a better normal summon.

Venus is without debate one of the best starters for this deck in any format. While it does fill your deck (which isn't much of an arguement since Draconet and Rabbit builds play more vanilla names to ensure they're live and end up being comparable in engine size to Venus), this engine gives you vasts amount of resources off one normal summon, opens up a number of potential builds and skills and helps deck thin for next turn and Nin draws.
